Georgetown was our first O gauge layout build.

Georgetown was a fabulous challenge for us to build as the first O Gauge layout to come through The Little Layout Company. Although not to so little, this layout boasts an 8ft x 4ft scenic board with a further 4 ft fiddle yard. Set in the real life Georgetown, New England, USA the client wanted to capture an autumn scene; so we used lots of oranges and golden yellows in the grass, trees and backscene. Some fabulously detailed buildings were added that were purchased from the States, and a custom backscene depicting a real glimpse of a New England landscape; all giving it a very unique aspect. It was built DCC and is a part of an ongoing project that will result in a 40ft American scene. Keep an eye out for the next installment of this great layout!

Canondale depicts the branch further on from Georgetown. This was a less used line with more weeds and overgrown track.
